| Spring 2007
Original class description: It’s a class! It’s a game! It’s a
contest ! If you’ve been following Project Runway ® and wishing that
something like that existed for quilters, then PROJECT PATCHWORK is for
you. In each of the three classes you will be issued a challenge for a small
quilt and have two hours to work on it - either as an innovative, contemporary,
traditional or art quilt. Jane will act as our Tim Gunn - outlining challenges,
offering encouragement, pushing when necessary and keeping the ball moving. The winner of a viewer’s choice ballot will receive a $50.00 gift
certificate to the Country Quilter. So come and play and challenge yourself. And
the best part is no one gets eliminated! All levels. Instructor: Jane Davila
Photos were taken at the end of each two hour class to record progress and
the working process. Finished pieces were brought back the following week and
needed to be substantially similar to the in-progress piece. All completed work
will hang in the shop beginning June 15, 2007 for one month for viewer's
choice voting.
